Employees were kind and courteous!

Guest room was authentic and modern had hypoallergenic pillows.

It was in a great and perfect location, minutes walking distance from the train station. We had goodies and coffee at Estrela doce do Paraiso, it was located a walking distance from the venue.

The staff we met were poor.

Reasonably spacious unit with nice bathroom.

Satisfactory breakfast with croissants and amazingly friendly staff. Location just next door to the centre of Oporto, Portugal and parks, museums and also on the sightseeing bus and river cruise.

I recently stayed at the quaint Hotel Grande Rio in Porto for a few nights. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the city center and metro station. My ground floor room was clean and comfortable, with a convenient electric kettle. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The neighborhood was quiet and pleasant, making for a peaceful stay.

In room 117 and 118 very good beds. Breakfast is perfect and nutricious, space to sit a little bit narrow. Excellent service and advise from Staff. Metro at 300 m. Rooms simple but sufficient furnished. Cafetaria Nelma at ca. 200 m. in de rua De Bonjardin has a simple but very good and affordable kitchen. Best fries ever and one should taste the homemade scamps or the bread with a thick layer of beef topped with cheese. Very good hotel for citytrip or a bit longer, specially for this price. I was with 7 friends but will return with my family.

Our room was functional and new-fashioned with bathroom. Ironing facilities, a study table, and a radio were perfect. The location was great and absolutely perfect, the staff were gentle.

The hotel is well priced and nestled in a neat building with quiet vibes. The staff was nice, courteous, and everything was great. The bed was good, the room was amazingly comfortable and authentic with bathroom. A work desk, a multi-channel television, and a seating area were all available.

I recently stayed at Hotel Grande Rio for a short visit to Porto. The rooms had been newly refurbished and were clean, with nice bathrooms. The location was great, with a metro station just around the corner and plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were very hospitable and the breakfast was diverse and tasty. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Porto.

The hotel staff was very friendly and always available too answer any questions. We felt very welcome. Breakfast was good. The room was comfortable and very clean. There was also free wifi in the room. We'll probably go back to Porto some day and then we'll definitely try to book the same hotel.

Everything was perfect.We feel ourselves like in a 5 star hotel.Breakfast was perfect.Our room was so clean and comfortable.It was not expensive.You may think hotel is far from city center but hotel is so close to a metro station.We did not have any problem about location.Metro is perfect for transportation.I Strongly recommend this hotel to you.

The warm friendly welcome and helpful, advice by all the staff. Smalll verry comfortable and very clean accommodation. An excellent breakfast with a wide choice to suit everyone. although not in the centre of the town the metro is close by and it is only 25 minutes walk to the river snd town. Quiet hotel. Would highly recommend to anyone.
